About Me
- Name: Rachel Gillies
Hi. I trained in Photography(BA-Hons) at Edinburgh College of Art, UK and Multimedia Technology(PG-Dip) at Napier University, UK. (See links for full CV) I then worked for a website, before joining a great organisation called Stills (see links) in Edinburgh, Scotland, that provided darkrooms, digital labs, exhibition opportunities and residencies for artists. I worked as a Manager there, in the hub of the action. I am currently in New Zealand, working as a Lecturer of Photography and I really love teaching. I find the art scene very exciting in Aotearoa New Zealand and I hope to become a part of it in many ways. Hopefully, some people here will enjoy and engage with this blog.
